Car history: |
Targa Blue with amazing original Blue Interior. Original LT-1 350 with Matching Numbers and 4 Speed Transmission. Options include RARE Factory Air Conditioning, Power Steering, SS Calipers, Tilt and Telescopic Steering Column, Radio Delete, and Proper original wheel covers with authentic Goodyear Wide Tread F-70-15 white letter tires. The Odometer shows 33,293 miles, and the more you look, you just have to believe it. All original untouched interior that you have to see in person to appreciate. As far as original interiors go, this one's as crisp as they get. Definitely the most honest and tight 72 that's been through here in some time... And talk about RARE... This is one of only 240 cars built with the LT-1 option and Air Conditioning. 1972 was the only year you could even combine the two. A one owner car bought new at Bob McDorman's Chevrolet where they just took it back in on trade. Good candidate for the Bloomington Benchmark or Survivor awards... What a car! Documentation includes original window sticker, protect-o-plate, dealer order invoice, corvette owner card (when was the last time you saw one of these?!!), owner's manual, and a large stack of early 70's warranty receipts, and even copies of correspondence between the original owner (who was traveling abroad with the military at the time) and the ordering dealership. You couldn't ask for better documentation, a more left alone original car, or a better one to drive! This is a keeper! Motor suffix code is V0427CKY. Colors from the trim plate. Built date is J04. 33,293 miles. November 19, 2009. |
